Bride's Side
Maid of Honor – Shannon Moore
Shannon is not only my older sister but she is my best friend and never in my life have I imagined another person standing next to me on the most exciting day of my life. She has been there for me through everything and helped me through so much that sharing in this excitement and joy will be an unforgettable day.
Bridesmaid – Lindsay Feltham
Lindsay was the little blonde girl that I came across over 4 years ago when I first moved here. Little did I know that our friendship would grow and develop into a friendship so deep that we would share in many of our biggest life memories together and I would never imagine sharing this with anyone else.
Bridesmaid – Jen Jacobson
Jen would to some be a surprise to have as a part of my wedding party. We had a rough start to our friendship but over time a friendship so deep has grown in our souls. We are not the friends who are inseparable but the type who talk for hours and are always there for each other. She has been there to listen to all of my worries and concerns and has helped me focus on what our wedding is about. I know that with her standing my side my head will be on straight!
Bridesmaid – Rachel Schalm
Rachel is not only a friend but will soon be my sister-in-law. Immediately after we met I knew that she would be a wonderful sister-in-law and we have since had many laughs and fun times together. I look forward to the time we will spend together as a family in the future and am excited to have her as a part of our day!
Bridesmaid – Sadie Endall
Sadie has been my best friend since the day she was born. She is the most kind and humble soul you’d ever meet and has many times helped me to realize the blessing that I have in my life. There was never any doubt that Sadie would share in my wedding day as she has already shared in so many other special days in my life!
Flower Girl – Georgia Endall
Georgia is my God daughter and she is such a blessing in our life. She came into this world and immediately put a smile on my face and I don’t think there has been a time I’ve seen her and not smiled! She will be the best flower girl we could ever ask for.
Groom's Side
Mike Nyman - Best Man
Mike Nyman has been a great friend to me over the past 10 years. Both of our families were posted to CFB Comox at roughly the same time so we spent the latter half of elementary school growing up together, as we lived down the block from each other. Although he currently resides in Edmonton (sucker!), we chat often and I will be honoured to have him as my best man.
Taylor Thibeault - Groomsman
Taylor is one of my newer friends, as I didn't meet him the first time I came through Comox (apparently he lived here when I was here, but our paths had not yet crossed). We have had some great times hanging out and he's been a really good friend since I've known him.
Dustin Adams - Groomsman
Dustin Adamas has been a long time friend. Like Mike, I also grew up with Dustin when I was here, although since Dustin lived in Courtenay it was more difficult to hang out so we didn't know eachother as well then. However, since I've been back to the Valley it has been great getting to know him again.
Jason Morcombe - Groomsman
Jason Morcombe is Shannon Moore's boyfriend, and a really cool guy. I unfortunately haven't spent enough time with him (as he lives in Penticton, boo!) but the time we have spent together has been awesome. I look forward to getting to know him more and one day being able to welcome him into my family-in-law (wink wink, nudge nudge)
Tra Schalm - Junior Groomsman
Tra is my only cousins on my dad's side, and it has been great seeing him grow up since I've been back. He's an awesome snowboarder and I'm hopeful that one of these days we'll get to go up the mountain and ride together.
